HOW OFTEN DOES PWR MEET?

PWR meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 12p until 2p at Roanoke Country Club. During that time we enjoy a catered lunch featuring two member speakers.  Each meeting allows members to introduce their business with a 60 second commercial and the group participates in referral exchanges.

HOW DO I JOIN PWR?

Simply fill out the application form (located on the “Application” page) or see any current member of PWR.  The Board of Directors will review your application.  The Membership Chair will contact you after your application has been reviewed to inform you of your status.

WHAT ARE MEMBER REQUIREMENTS AND FEES?

Members are required to be non-competing, well-connected female business professionals who have been working within their category for an extended period of time.

Yearly fees are $75 and are due February 1st or upon joining.  Dinner is $15 per person and active members are required to attend a minimum of 10 meetings.  PWR also hosts a minimum of three socials that members can use to make up a missed meeting.

The Reservations Chair will send out a reminder each month with a deadline for RSVPs.  If you are unable to make a meeting, it is important for you to advise Reservations so that we can send an accurate head count to the country club.  If you fail to make the meeting and do not let Reservations know by the deadline, you will be charged for your meal.

If your category is filled, we encourage you to submit an application for the board to keep on file in the event that the category becomes available.
